Goldfields Casino Trolley Dash

1. Any person who is under 18, or who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into any category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from gambling and/or participating in this promotional competition.
2. This promotional competition is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
3. This promotional competition is exclusive to all Tsogo Sun Rewards Programme cardholders (“Participants”) subject to their respective active membership(s) at Goldfields Casino and that opted in for communication, downloaded the Tsogo Sun Mobile app.
4. Guest who wish to participate must sign up for the Tsogo Sun Rewards Programme, Download the Tsogo Sun App and ensure they are opted in for communication
5. Participants must earn a minimum 100 points per draw ticket or send minimum of R100 per draw ticket at Goldfields Casino food and beverage outlet Café V
6. Participants earn points by playing Slots/Tables using their Goldfields Casino Rewards Card
7. Draw tickets will be uncapped, participants can earn as many draw tickets as possible.
8. Points earning period: 1 December 2024 – 31 December 2024
9. TEEDs (electronic) draw will be conducted on the draw day Monday, 6 January 2024 at 19h00
10. Qualifying Goldfields Casino Reward cardholders will be allowed to activate their Tsogo Sun App Only draw tickets prior to the actual draw date
11. The ticket activation will close 5 minutes prior to the draw start time.
12. All draw activations into “TEEDs (electronic)” Tsogo Sun App draw must be done prior to the draw bin closing (5 minutes prior to each draw) within specified time
13. The draw will take place at the designated draw area on the gaming floor
14. Participants may be drawn more than once but can only win once per draw
15. Redraw will be conducted should participants be drawn more than once in same draw
16. 5 x Winners will be drawn via (electronic TEEDs) device. The MC will announce the winning tickets. Selected draw winners will get an opportunity to select a promotional device that will reveal prize.
17. Tickets awarded to participants are not transferable and cannot be exchanged
18. It is the responsibility of Goldfields Casino Rewards members to ensure they are able to download the Tsogo Sun App on their mobile devices to allow them to participate in the Trolley Dash Tsogo Sun App draw and activate their draw tickets into the draw.
19. Participants may register to decline to be present at the draws by completing a Proxy Form. Participants may nominate a Proxy to act on their behalf if they choose not to be present. A positive and acceptable form of identification must be presented by both the Participant and Nominee (If applicable) when completing a Proxy Form
20. The prescribed Proxy Forms will be available at the Customer Services Desk from 09h00 to 18h30 (30 minutes before the draw start time) on the day of the draw where a participant can register to still be acknowledged for the prize, should he/she decline to be present for that draw or when the prize winners are announced on that day
21. Prize winners or Proxies who are present will be given 90 seconds to present themselves and must have evidence of the winning ticket and/or Rewards card belonging to the prize winner and/or a positive and acceptable form of identification
22. Should the winner not have the identification, reasonable steps shall be taken to verify the winner using GMS System. Should proof of identification not be available on GMS or the system is offline, verification will not be possible and the onus is on the winner to present a valid and acceptable form of identification
23. Should the prize winner not present themselves within 90 seconds, and there is no record of the prize winner declining the invitation to be present by completing the Prescribed Proxy Form, a re-draw will take place
24. Should a prize winner who is eligible for a prize but not present as a result of declining an invite to be present for the draw by completing the Prescribed Proxy Form, the casino shall take all reasonable steps to contact the prize winner via the contact details provided in the Prescribed Proxy Form and or GMS system. In such circumstances, the prize winner may claim the prize within 15 days from the day of the draw at the Customer Service Desk
25. Nominees shall not be entitled to any prize(s) or benefits and shall not take receipt of prizes accruing to the winner they represent
26. Prizes must be collected and signed for the receipt thereof by the relevant Prize Winner (not Nominees), as the case may be, within 15 days from the date of the draw at Goldfields Casino
27. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into
28. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged
29. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified.
30. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management. This may include rescheduling times and draw dates.

TROLLEY DASH PRIZE – TERMS & CONDITIONS

The prize is a 60 (sixty) second shopping spree at Checkers Goldfields Mall to the maximum value of R5000 on Monday, 6 January at 07h30 AM. Late arrival will result in the winner forfeiting the prize.

THE TROLLEY DASH RULES ARE AS FOLLOWS:

1. Contestant start at designated area inside Checkers Goldfields Mall;
2. Contestant may only take 1 of any product;
3. Contestant has to participate without any help from any third party, including but not limited to store staff to find or fetch items (except for person explained in point 4 below);
4. Exclusions: airtime, pre-paid electricity, all Medi-Rite Pharmacy and Money Market products/services;
5. The contestant may grab as many products as he/she can and place it in their shopping trolley during the 60 (sixty) second Trolley Dash.
6. When the time stops, the contestant must immediately stop where he/she is and stop what he/she is doing. Only the products in the trolley/s, to a maximum total value of R5000, will be allowed and allocated to the winner.
7. The Organisers will have the final decision whether a product was in the trolley when the time was stopped and which products are allowed in order to fall under the R5000 maximum limit.
8. The winner will be informed of the date and time for the trolley dash but it will be held no later than 1 (one) week after being winning at Trolley Dash Tsogo Sun App draw at Goldfields Casino
9. The winner must participate in the trolley dash themselves and may not nominate a third party to participate on their behalf, unless prior written approval is given by the Promoters.
10. The prizes do not cover any other costs of the winner whatsoever.
11. The Organiser and their subsidiaries, agents, partners and sponsors will not be held liable for any defective products, harm or consequential loss as a result of use of the prize and will not be held liable to replace or repair defective products.
12. The prize is not transferable to another person, nor can it be exchanged for cash.
13. The winner must present a valid South African Identification Document in order to claim his/her prize.
14. If the winner cannot be contacted successfully within 7 days or declines the prize, another prize winner will be selected as soon as reasonably possible.
15. The winner may be asked to allow his/her name and photograph to be used for public relations purposes and advertising, but is not obliged to do so and may decline this invitation.
16. No employees, including temporary/casual staff, agents of or consultants to Goldfields Mall, sponsors, the directors, members, partners, or any of its associates including contractors, service providers, tenants or employees are allowed to enter this competition.
17. Entrants enter the competition at their own risk. The Organiser and their subsidiaries, agents, partners and sponsors cannot be held responsible and/or liable for any accident, injury, harm or loss which may occur, directly or indirectly as a result of entering this Competition or as a direct or indirect result of the utilization in any way whatsoever of a prize won in terms of this competition.
18. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
