  1. Any person who is under 18, or who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into any category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from gambling and/or participating in this promotional competition.
  2. This promotional competition is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
  3. This promotional competition is exclusive to Rewards Members at Goldfields Tsogo Sun.
  4. Entry into the ROULETTE SPIN OFF TOURNAMENT will be by way of CASH buy-ins over promotional period on Sundays & Mondays between 12h00 – 21h00.
  5. Guests will buy in for R100 in CASH per entry at Cash desk.
  6. Players may enter as many times as they wish during the qualifying ROULETTE SPIN OFF TOURNAMENT on promo days.
  7. Only high score per participants will go onto ROULETTE SPIN OFF TOURNAMENT leader board. (Scores will not be counted together)
  8. The aim being to end in the Top 21 on the overall leader board to partake in the ROULETTE SPIN OFF TOURNAMENT Semi’s & Finals of the tournament.
  9. The Top 21 participants on the overall leader board with highs the highest scores (chip counts from a single qualifying heat (18 August to 23 September 2024) will take part in the Semi-Finals.
  10. Buy-ins will take place at Cash desk, guest to bring proof of buy-in to dedicated AR promo Table in order to be allocated a playing slot.
  11. A maximum of 7 players at a time will constitute a heat, with a minimum of 1 player.
  12. After buying in, each player will receive 3 x stacks of colour chips, each chip will represent R10.
  13. Each chip will represent an unredeemable rand value of R10 for purposes of determining winners and ranking of players. These chips have no cash value and it cannot be redeemed for value in any form, or used to place bets at live games.
  14. General Rules:
  • Normal AR rules apply except for Call Bets, Outside Chances, Columns and dozens, which may not be played.
  • A leader board will display the top 21 players, updated daily.
  1. Players play for themselves, monies may not be pooled or transferred to other players.
  2. Chips are to be kept on the Table at all times and players must play every spin. No Proxies will be allowed during the Qualifying rounds.
  3. Chip “winnings” from one competition session will not be carried over to another session. All chips must be returned to the respective table float at the end of each heat / round.
  4. Registration and participation at the finals shall be in accordance with dates and times that will be advertised through the casino’s marketing mediums. Late entries shall not be accepted.
  5. The Master of Ceremonies, at the finals, will announce the start of each tournament session. Participants who are not present at the actual start of the respective session will forfeit their seats without any re-funds of their entrance fees.
  6. Designated and demarcated operational tables and/or tournament tables will be utilised for the tournament. Live games will not be offered at the affected operational tables during tournament sessions, however live games may resume at these tables when it is not being utilised for tournament purposes.
  7. 80% of the money received from overall buy-ins over qualifying period will be 1st Prize + CASH prize. 20% of daily buy ins will be 1st Prize for daily qualifying heats top player.
  8. Participants do not earn Rewards Programme points during tournament play.
  9. Participants’ chips are to be maintained in a visible manner on the table concerned at all times during each session. Participants must bet during every spin. Bets are to be placed during the allocated time for each spin. The Master of Ceremonies will announce the allocated times, which may differ during the various stages of the tournament.
  10. In the event of a tie a spin-off will occur i.e. a Dealer will spin the roulette ball in the wheel for the affected participants in alphabetical order of their surnames. The participant with the higher number will gain the higher position and the participant with the lower number (zero being a low number) will gain the very next position. The ranking order will be adjusted accordingly.
  11. Should participants wish to elect representatives through a proxy, they may elect representatives who may not be co-participants in any of the respective stages. The nominated representatives will be required to play without any coercion and/or input/strategy from the nominating participants concerned.
  12. Should a “NO SPIN” be declared by the Tournament Director whilst a rotational marker is being used, bets will not be changed and the ball will be re-spun. In the event there is a ‘NO SPIN’ during earlier qualifying rounds then bets may be changed.
  13. Bets may not be adjusted once a participant’s time has lapsed, or they have indicated they have finished betting, when the rotational marker that is being utilised for betting sequence has moved on to the next participant.
  14. Chips cannot be pooled with, or transferred to other participants’ chips. All chips must be returned to the respective table float at the end of each competition session.
  15. Should a player be eliminated during the semi and final rounds and the respective playing position be empty, the rotational marker will move to the next player.
  16. Whilst every reasonable effort will be taken to ensure the accurate recording of rankings/scores, the onus shall remain with participants to ensure that their rankings/scores are correct at all times. The casino reserves the right to make the necessary corrections as soon as it becomes aware of any founded discrepancies, which corrections could change the rankings/scores of participants and allocation of prizes.
  17. Tournament Director’s decision (or a Management Representative thereof) will be deemed as final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  18. Prizes must be collected and signed for the receipt thereof by the relevant Prize Winner (not Nominees), as the case may be, within 15 days from the date of the draw at Goldfields Casino. The winner must present the winning receipt and a positive and acceptable form of identification.
  19. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into.
  20. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified.
  21. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotion/tournament, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management. This may include rescheduling times and a draw/tournament date/s.
  22. Every participant in the promotion/tournament shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules under their participation.
  23. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
  24. The FSGLTA will be informed of unresolved disputes, subject to the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act.
  25. Any complaint and/or dispute can be lodged with the FSGLTA.
