How can I win?

Participants must write their nine unique numbers between 0-36 on each set of tickets provided and hand in the original at the Customer Service Desk to qualify.

 

Tickets

Unclear or altered numbers will lead to disqualification.

Each set of tickets (original and copy) must have the same numbers. Any ticket found to have different numbers or more than nine numbers will be declared invalid and the participant will be disqualified from that specific day’s promotion.

The onus is on the participant/s to present themselves or announce that they have nine matching numbers as soon as the last matching number has been generated/selected. Either intentionally or unintentionally, delaying the announcement until further numbers have been generated/selected may result in them possibly having to share the prize with another winner.

 

When can I win?

Ticket buy-ins will be open on the below promotional days

Tickets buy-ins from 12h00 to 14h00 on Sundays with numbers generated/selected from 15h00

Tickets buy-ins from 09h00 to 11h30 & 16h00 to 18h30 on Mondays with numbers generated / selected from 12h00 & 19h00

Tickets buy-ins from 09h00 to 11h30 & 16h00 to 18h30 on Tuesdays with numbers generated / selected from 12h00 & 19h00

 

What can I win?

Super 9 Progressive Jackpot or a daily prize. The Super 9 Progressive Jackpot will start at a base value of R2500 and reset after it has been won.

Super 9 Progressive Jackpot can only be won once on a Monday & Tuesday either at 12h00 or 19h00

  1. No person under the age of 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in this promotion
  2. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, who is self-excluded, or who falls into the category of excluded persons is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion
  3. The promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly controls or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners’ business partners or immediate family members
  4. The promotion is exclusive to Goldfields Casino Rewards members
  5. Guest who wish to participate must sign up for the Rewards Programme
  6. The promotion will take place every Sunday at 15h00, Mondays & Tuesdays at 12h00 & 19h00 Times are subject to change during the promotional period
  7. Ticket buy-ins / purchases will open between:
  • 12h00 to 14h30 on Sundays numbers will be drawn at 15h00
  • 09h00 to 11h30 & 16h00 to 18h30 on Mondays numbers will be drawn at 12h00 & 19h00
  • 09h00 to 11h30 & 16h00 to 18h30 on Tuesdays numbers will be drawn at 12h00 & 19h00
  1. Participants must buy-in at the CASH DESK for only R20 cash per ticket. Buy ins will be capped

  2. Points redemption is not allowed
  3. Each participant will receive a set of two tickets of which the numbers selected must match (original and copy)
  4. Participants must select/write 9 unique numbers between 0-36 and hand over the copy to the Marketing Team/Customer Service Desk. It is the participants’ responsibility to ensure that their selected numbers on a ticket are clear and legible
  5. Unclear or altered numbers will lead to disqualification and participants must ensure that their numbers reflect on the duplicate
  6. Any alterations on the ticket must be communicated and approved by the promotions team before the promotion starts
  7. A Promotional device (tombola containing unique balls marked from 0-36 numbers) will be used to select / generate winning numbers
  8. The progressive jackpot and consolation/daily prize will be announced before the promotion starts
  9. Participants must be present on the day of the Super 9 promotional draws
  10. The Draw manager will select / generate winning numbers at 15h00 on Sundays and at 12h00 & 19h00 on Mondays / Tuesdays.
  11. Participants must match 9 unique numbers on one ticket within 18 consecutive numbers selected / generated to win the full progressive jackpot. If there is more than one winner, the jackpot prize will be split equally.
  12. The winner/s must present themselves to the promotions team and no further numbers will be generated / selected after the winner has been verified.
  13. Should the winner not be in the position to immediately present a positive or acceptable form of identification, reasonable steps shall be taken to verify the winner using the gaming system (GMS). Should proof of identification not be available on Patron Management System or the system is offline, the patron will be disqualified
  14. If no participant/s matches 9 unique numbers within 18 consecutive numbers generated/ selected, the jackpot will roll over to the next promotional day or session (if Jackpot is not won on a Monday / Tuesday progressive will rollover) and a consolation/daily prize will be available
  15. After the 18th number generated / selected, participants will be given 90 seconds to verify their numbers and present themselves to the promotions team to claim the jackpot. No participant may attempt to claim the prize after the 90 seconds have lapsed
  16. The promotional will continue to generated / select Super 9 numbers until there is a daily prize winner. If there is more than one winner, the consolation/daily prize will be shared equally
  17. Each set of tickets (original and copy) must have the same numbers. Any ticket found to have different numbers or more than 9 numbers will be declared invalid and the participant will be disqualified from that specific day’s promotion session.

Only after positive verification by the Promotion team of the participant’s claim, will the Super 9 Daily Prize be awarded to the winner /ers, and it will be the end of the day’s promotion
  22. The Jackpot prize advertised at the time will be the actual prize to be won
  23. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged
  24. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into
  25. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified
  26. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotion, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management. This may include rescheduling times and promotion dates
  27. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation
  28. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force
  29. The FSGLTA will be informed of unresolved disputes, subject to the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act
  30. Any complaint and/or dispute can be lodged with the FSGLTA
